Step 1: Launch iTunes on your Mac and connect your iPhone to a computer using the USB cable. Actually, when you connect your iPhone, iTunes will launch automatically.

Step 2: Now navigate to Device tab 🡪 Select Photos 🡪 Check Sync Photos 🡪 and now you can select the space where you want to sync your photographs 🡪 then, tap Apply. Make sure to select the whole folder whenever you want to import photos from your PC’s folder to a mobile device. Since the folder you choose may have other subfolders.

Note: iTunes doesn’t have the sync option, therefore, when you want to transfer your photos from computer to your iOS device; iTunes will not allow you to sync photos from the computer to iPhone. When you have already turned on iCloud Photo Library on your iOS device and try to manage your photos from computer, iTunes will show a pop-up window which says ‘iCloud Photos is ON. You can download photos to your mobile if you have a decent Wi-Fi or mobile data connection.

But, do not worry about the pop-up window that says “iTunes can’t sync photos because iCloud photos O” I have mentioned three methods that you can apply in such a case. The following are the three choices which you can approach in order to fix the error.

Option 1: You need to toggle off the iCloud Photo Library on your iOS device. All you need to do is follow the navigate route mentioned below.

On your iOS device, launch Settings app🡪Apple ID🡪iCloud🡪Photos🡪iCloud Photo Library 🡪click on it to make it off🡪select Remove from iPhone/Download photos & videos.

Caution:

When you choose option 1, then there are a few facts that you have to put into consideration. Firstly, when you apply this method, all your photos that are stored in iCloud but not on your iOS device will be deleted. Therefore, it would be better for you to remove all photos from the iCloud library. Secondly, if you do not want to remove photos, you can download them on your iOS device. But, when you choose to download on your iPhone, make sure that you have enough storage on your device; otherwise, it will become a headache for you to store those photos with limited space. So, it this option doesn’t suit you, then we recommend you go with option 2 which is mentioned below.

Option 2: This option is more suitable for users who do not want to lose their data. All you need to do is save all your photos on iCloud from your PC/Mac. Once you store photos on iCloud, it will by default appear on your iOS device as soon as you are connected with the Wi-Fi network.

Option 3: You can sync content from PC/Mac using an alternative option that won’t need the presence of iTunes. The same technique has been mentioned in this article as solution 1. This method is more convenient as you will not lose any of your important data from your iOS device.

Solution 3: How to Sync/transfer/manage photos from PC/Mac to iPhone with iCloud.

Before you start transferring photos from computer to iPhone, make sure you have iCloud Photo Library enabled on your iOS mobile device; as it is required when you decide to sync photos between iPhone and iCloud. Now, you can browse icloud.com from your Mac/computer and upload photos from there itself. Once you sync photos from your computer, they will automatically get reflected on your iPhone once you are in a Wi-Fi network.
