It is important that your Apple Music subscription is active because it may be that your subscription expired or that someone else with access to it and canceled it. You need to check the status of your Apple Music subscription on your iPhone with the below steps:

  • You need to open Settings and tap on your name at the top of the screen.
  • Then tap iTunes and App Store and then Apple ID.
  • You need to tap View Apple ID and use your password, Touch ID, or Face ID to authenticate yourself if asked.
  • Finally, scroll down and tap Subscriptions.
  • Here, you will check the current status of your Apple Music subscription. And if you have multiple subscriptions, you may need to tap on Apple Music to check the status of your account.
